This website, http://www.runforlife.ie is operated by Irish Kidney Association (“IKA”), with charity number 6327 whose principal place of business is Donor House, Block 43A, Parkwest, Dublin 12. Your use of this website is subject to our terms and conditions of use set out below (“Terms of Use”), and by accessing and using this website and your completion of the application form (the ‘’Application’’) to participate in the IKA’s’ Charity Fun Run Event titled the ‘Run For A Life’ (the “Event’’) you agree that you have read, understand and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and any terms set out on the Application, the Race Information, Training Tips and General Information sections of the website. Please ensure you read each of these carefully in their entirety. If you do not agree with the Terms of Use, you should not access or use this website.
Applicants and participants acknowledge that reasonable fitness is required to participate in any distance run and acknowledge that the IKA shall not be in any way liable for any injury and or loss or damage to any property caused in preparation for, during or after the Event.
- USE OF WEBSITE
You will not use this website for any illegal or unlawful purposes or in any manner which could damage or impair this website. You agree not to use this website to collect by any means information (including without limitation email addresses or other personal details of other users). You agree to use the website for personal use only and not for reproduction on any other website or for commercial gain. The information in this website may be updated from time to time but we do not accept any responsibility for keeping the information in these pages up-to-date and exclude all liability for any failure to do so. The IKA makes no representation as to the accuracy or reliability of the contents of this website.
- REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT
Registration is not required if you simply want to browse through this website. However, you will be required to register if you wish to submit your Application online. Alternatively you can print the Application form and send it with all required details to the address for the IKA listed at Clause 13 below with a cheque for the required total payment. The IKA is not responsible for the loss of such an Application in the post or any delays in receiving the Application. An Application by post will be confirmed as being received by either an email where an email address is provided by an applicant or by a note being sent confirming the Application has been received. This will be sent to an address provided with the Application. If both an email address and a postal address are received, you agree that an email will be the form of confirmation.
When making an Application either on-line or by post the Application must be accompanied by the total payment and this amount is non-refundable.
- COPYRIGHT NOTICE
The information, data, text, graphics and content (the “Materials”) contained in this website are protected by copyright and trade mark laws. The IKA and/or its licensors or partners (as the case may be) retain all right, title, interest and intellectual property rights in and to the Materials. Any other use of the Materials on this website save as set out above, including in any form of copying, reproduction modification, distribution, re-publication, extraction, integration with other materials or works or is strictly prohibited and is a violation of the proprietary rights of the IKA and its licensors.
- DISCLAIMERS
Applicants and participants acknowledge that reasonable fitness is required to participate in any distance run and acknowledge that the IKA shall not be in any way liable for any injury and or loss or damage to any property caused in preparation for, during or after the Event. Parkwest Business and Residential Campus, Dublin 12 is the location of this Event. The IKA are the organisers of the Event with Astellas Pharma as sponsors . You agree to obey all reasonable instructions issued by the IKA’s stewards and any third party assisting with the Event , with regards to the Event.
All use by you of this website is at your own risk. The website is intended to provide general information only and as such, should not be considered as a substitute for advice covering any specific situation. Users should seek appropriate advice before taking or refraining from taking any action in reliance on any information contained in this website. So far as permissible by law, the IKA does not accept any liability to any person relating to the use of any such information.

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Ireland and to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish Courts.
- FORCE MAJEURE
The IKA shall not be held to be in breach of its obligations hereunder nor liable to the user for any loss or damage which may be suffered by another party due to any cause beyond its reasonable control including without limitation any act of God, fire, storm, flood, lightening, disease, strike, trade dispute, act of terrorism, any act or omission of government or regulatory bodies or communications operators.
- SUSPENSION/TERMINATION
The IKA may at any time, without notice to you, suspend or terminate the operation of this website or any service forming part of this website, wholly or partially for any reason, including without limitation, where you are in breach of these Terms of Use, or if for any reason the IKA suspends or discontinues the website or is unable to process any Application.
- MISCELLANEOUS
If any court of competent jurisdiction finds any provision of these Terms of Use to be void or unenforceable for any reason, then such provision shall be ineffective to the extent of the court’s finding effecting the validity and enforceability of any remaining provision.
