Event Overview

“Run for a Life today. Help change someone’s tomorrow”, is Astellas Ireland’s charity fun run theme this year. This is the second year of the newly formed fun run and we hope to get bigger and better each year. Our main objective is to raise funds and awareness for organ transplant patients and organ transplant facilities in Ireland.  All funds raised in the event, including a large portion of your entry fee, will be used to help improve the lives of transplant patients in Ireland.

Everyone is welcome to participate, no matter what your level of fitness is. You can walk it, run it, jog it, stroll it - it doesn’t matter. We just want you to enjoy yourself and enjoy the food and craic afterwards, knowing that you are helping others.

Food and Drink
After the Fun Run, everyone is invited to a free buffet/barbeque. Hot and cold dishes, salads, and delicious desserts for all!

The Kids Zone
We plan to take some of the burden away from you if you are bringing young children to the Fun Run. Activities include a pet farm, a balloon modeller, face painting, DJ and child puppet shows as well as other child friendly entertainment.  And don’t forget, there are 300 acres of green space for the children to play in.
