Beaumont Transplant foundation

Beaumont Hospital Foundation is a registered charity (CYH 11538). Beaumont Hospital Foundation’s aim is to raise funds which are allocated to patient care projects in Beaumont Hospital. Through fundraising events, general donations, legacies, prize draws Beaumont Hospital Foundation strives to raise much needed funds for patient care at Beaumont Hospital.

A small dedicated team is focussed on contributing to patient care and providing support for those who wish to raise funds for the hospital. Friends of the Foundation come from all walks of life. Relatives of patients and former patients, staff and the local community have all donated funds, volunteered or raised money for the Foundation.

To make sure the right funds get to the right projects, BHF have a grant system in place. In 2009 alone, approximately €300,000 was donated to nearly 50 patient care projects. These funds have been divided into three separate categories Major, Bursary and General grants.
